TheSony A7RII was announced few months ago in June and has started shipping worldwide now in August 2015. The product’s is already a hit among Sony professionals, even though shipments have just started. You can download a RAW file here and see yourself. Its a game changing camera with amazing performance. It never overheated which was a problem in a few of previous models.
With the release of the a7R II, Sony has vastly expanded the level of button configuration and virtually every physical control on the camera has some level of customization. The new EVF magnification is amazing and at .78 it is the largest magnification of any modern camera, DSLR or mirrorless (forNikon D810 it is .70) which results in a large comfortable view without any pressure on the eyes.
There are 399 on-sensor phase detect points which improves the tracking and aids to already fast autofocus speed on the Sony a7 II. One of the big features of the new camera is its compatibility to Canon EF lenses. Off-course, you will need adapters but that a huge encouraging news for those who have Canon lenses.

Eye AF I just configured Eye AF yesterday and am loving it. For the uninitiated, Eye AF is essentially AF that tracks your subject’s eyes. You need to have the camera in C-AF mode and assign the Eye AF feature to one of your buttons – I used the center dial button. Press and hold that button to AF and the camera will magically focus on your subject’s eyes. I tested it in a dark hallway at f/1.8 3200 ISO 1/125 and it worked well. My subject was backlit slightly and his eyes were shadowed so I am very impressed. In normal light it tracks really fast! ~ via Chad Wadsworth
