Three Years and One Million Photos For This Time-Lapse.

Photographer Keith Loutit just raised the bar for others with this incredible timelapse video of Singapore. The complete video took three years and over one million photos to be produced. Keith is well known for his timelapse and tiltshift photography and videos.

The videos shows Singapore as a living organism. Keith had to shoot for over 500 days from the same location to make this amazing timelapse. He told that the timelapse was shot using two Nikon D4 cameras sporting old Nikon AIS and AI lenses that he modifies himself to better serve his purposes. The sheer scale of project makes it one of the most amazing timelapse ever made.  Loutit captured and backed up humongous 10 Terabytes of footage. See it yourself as word will not do justice to this incredible accomplishment.

He explains, about his video – Majulah – ‘Onward’.
When we pass by landscapes they appear fixed in time, but they change around us constantly. The idea behind this film is to reveal this change by returning to the same camera positions over the years.”
