Photoshop Experts Open Photoshop 1.0
A few weeks ago Adobe celebrated Photoshop’s 25 anniversary. In honor of this joyous event, the awesome people at CreativeLive asked 8 Photoshop experts to try their hand at Photoshop 1.0 . The well known Photoshop experts who teach the software and processing skills for a living generally know it like the back of their hand. In this task by CreativeLive, they were forced to downgrade to the original version of the program, Photoshop 1.0 .
Photoshop experts whowere given the task were — Dave Cross, Jared Platt, Ben Willmore, Chris Orwig, Julieanne Kost, Aaron Nace, Tim Grey, Matt Kloskowski, and Jason Hoppe — to try their hand at version 1.0. The results of this task and their reaction can be seen in the video below.
Photoshop 1, which was released in 1990 can actually still do quite a few things despite missing quite a few things that you take for granted today such as – Multiple undo/history, Camera RAW, layers and many more.
Jokes aside, we can only imagine how Photoshop will look in 2040 when they celebrate its 50th Year.
